The bicycle ergometer is only offered in some study centres and is used to determine your physical fitness. Before this examination, it is checked whether you are at an increased health risk under physical stress. You can only take part in the examination if there is no risk. Your heart rate will be continuously recorded during the examination. The examination will be cancelled immediately if you experience any health problems (e.g. chest pain, discomfort, dizziness).
In the NAKO second re-examination, bicycle ergometry is part of the M4 examination module, which also includes the measurement of hand grip strength, physical fitness and physical activity.
