NAKO at the European Biobank Week Congress

The European Biobank Week (EBW) Congress will take place from 13-16 May in Bologna, Italy. The event is organised by the European Biobanking Research Infrastructure (BBMRI-ERIC) and the European, Middle Eastern & African Society for Biopreservation and Biobanking (ESBB). It is an ideal place for NAKO researchers to discuss the latest findings and current topics with representatives from the healthcare and scientific sectors.

Session 8A: The Transformative Role of Biobanks in Public Health

The aim of this session is to show how biobanks (e.g. in the field of epidemiology) can be a decisive success factor for accelerating medical progress, e.g. by determining individual biomarkers or creating in-depth phenotype profiles using state-of-the-art technologies for molecular diagnostics and therapy.
