Apply Now: YoungNAKO Graduate Programme Starts in May 2026

With the “YoungNAKO” programme, NAKO e.V. specifically supports early-career researchers in the field of epidemiology. The application phase for the second cohort of the YoungNAKO Graduate Programme has now begun!

The Graduate Programme is a 20-month training programme for early-career researchers working with data from population-based cohort studies, such as the NAKO Health Study (NAKO). Graduates will be trained to design and analyze their own studies based on NAKO data and to apply for funding for future NAKO-related projects.

The programme is managed by a scientific steering committee in close cooperation with the scientific project leaders of the NAKO Health Study and the heads of the study centers.
